The Ortiz Gurdian Foundation is proud to do homage in its the 10th edition of the Nicaragua Biennial to painter and poet June Beer (1935-1986, Bluefields) whose allegories to life in the Nicaraguan Caribbean coast covers archetypes present in the exhibition: sculpture, painting, drawing, film and video, artist's books, archival materials, installations and performative acts, which emerge from the voices of individuals, territories and activities of perception, materializing collective experiences from organic life forms.
